December 2, 2009

There is so much to celebrate this time of year. Not just His birth but His everyday involvement in our lives.

This end of the year letter, we would like to do it differently and just share notes that were shared with us about the ministry in Mexico.  “Please know, we did not ask for these comments.”  We pray this will be an encouragement.  This is what your prayers, work and donations accomplish.

  1. I am so happy to see how we helped in an area building a church and now we come back and it is completely finished and full of people worshiping the Lord.

  1. Thank you for continuing to serve the Lord in Mexico all these years.  It has helped me stay focused on Jesus in my life.

3.   Thank you for letting me come and serve for a week.  God really opened my eyes and touched my                  .      heart.   I am getting ready to leave for the mission field now.

Now we would just like to share a few things the pastors in Mexico shared about the work here.

  1. It encourages me to serve the Lord when I see you down here.  If we go to America it would be easy to do missions because the living conditions are better but you guys come here where it is a lot worse and you guys don’t complain.

  1. I was about to quit the church but your ministry came and helped out.  God heard my prayers.  Please don’t stop your ministry to Mexico.  It is a beautiful thing from God.

  1. The ministry has done so much over the years.  You have stood by us in everything when others left us.

  1. Please thank everyone in America that make this ministry possible.  It not only helped us start the church here but you guys were there to help me and my wife when we almost separated.

  1. We are so blessed to have the ministry working with us.  So many have come to Jesus because of you guys.  The ministries compassion to help the poor get food, clothes has been a blessing here.

  1. We still miss your dad.  Your dad and mom will never understand the difference they have made and your mom is still making.

I (Brian) want to thank Mom for all she does. She keeps going no matter how sick she gets.

I pray this letter has been a blessing to you.  It’s your faithfulness that has accomplished this:

People coming to Jesus, Poor having food and clothes, New Christians being discipled and people going to the mission field in other countries after the experience they had here.

I pray you have a Merry Christmas in what we call out here, “The Jesus Season”.

Blessings,

Brian & Shirley
